Stephen A. Welles son of a Cabaret singer was born in Manhattan and raised around Broadway night clubs and the streets of the Bronx. He spent the better part of the 1970s capturing the music and culture of his day. Dancing & sports were a sacred pastime. If he wasn’t competing, he was playing his trumpet in R&B and Latin bands, performing in Community Theater or out for a night of dancing to some of the best Disco, Motown and Latin music of the time. Steve a single father of two teen boys served in the United States Marine Corps and has been in managerial positions for several top corporations. Today he is a Bartending Consultant and manages a Jazz Club Restaurant... "Streets of Honor" (2006) rated three stars by the media was his first work of fiction. Stay tuned for Steve’s exciting new novel (July 2010) called "Disco Nights."
